Celebrate our 2023 interns with us Thursday August 10 at 10 am

We are sending our 2023 Ground School Students, Claire, Tae and Isabelle, off to college. Help us celebrate their work this summer by joining us for their presentations about their summer work on the Island. There will also be tours of new gardens and plantings. Coffee, Ice Tea and treats from WISCO will be served. Join us for this fun event at Gathering Ground.

A FUN fundraiser, August 19

Join us for an art workshop, Sat. Aug 19. 2 pm.

Need a break from the frenzy of summer? Join Colleen Koziara, Artist and Senior Wellness Consultant, for a fun afternoon of restorative art-marking at Gathering Ground. All art supplies will be provided. You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy this afternoon of creativity. All ages welcome. Suggested donation is $35+. All proceeds will support Gathering Ground’s programs and plantings.

Community Garden is up and Growing

Need basil? Lettuce? Check out the crops in the community garden. Weed a little, harvest a little. Don’t be shy. The garden is growing abundantly and needs you to enjoy it! Enjoy the gifts of this generous earth and gardeners! Join us for the community meet up Thursday Mornings at 8:15 or come whenever you are available!

Looking to volunteer from the comfort of your home?

If you have a some WordPress experience and want to volunteer your skills in helping Alessandra maintain our website, let me know! You don’t need to be an expert. I will train you on how to add blog posts, events, and updates on the website. Email me if you are interested in learning more.
