We can’t travel back in time. But in 25 years, we will be able to look back on what we planted. The seeds we plant today will have had time to put roots into ground, soak in that nutritious sunlight, and grow. No matter what we are doing, we are always planting something for the future. What kind of future do we want?

You Can Double Your Impact!

An anonymous donor has pledged $50,000 as a matching grant toward our Planting for the Future campaign. All donations and 5-year pledges toward our Planting For The Future that come in by December 31, 2025 will be doubled. That means if you pledge to give a gift of $100/year for the next five years, your 5-year pledge of $500, will become a total gift of $1000.

At Gathering Ground, we want to look back on today knowing we did everything we could to make our extended community vibrant, healthy and connected to the land and each other. That’s why we’re Planting for the Future. The funds we raise today will help us expand programs like

• our new partnership with the Door County food pantries, which ensures healthy food is accessible to everyone county-wide
• Ground School, which provides opportunities for young people from across the region to learn about sustainable farming and across our food system
• our community gardens and community-led cooking classes, which give us a place come together grow, cook and eat tasty food together!

We believe these programs, along with all our other initiatives, will help plant the seeds of the future we want for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren.
