Gathering Ground is excited to begin hosting a community garden on the Grounds in 2023. Our goal with the community garden is to have a common garden that invites everyone come to visit, learn in, work in, and harvest from. Work a little. Pick a little. Enjoy a lot!

We welcome all who wish to participate. With tools, irrigation, and a community message board, the garden will welcome all to drop in as their schedule allows, see what needs to be done, and enjoy the bounty. 

While many on the island have their own gardens, this community garden will be ideal for people who don’t have enough space or sun on their own property, as well as those aren’t able to caring for a garden for the whole season, as well as those who prefer to garden with the collaboration of others.
